Online CrapsCraps is a fun and exciting dice game where players bet against others or a bank. Craps dates all the way back to the Crusades era and was first popular with the French. The game involves a series of different betting patterns and makes for a great experience for all players. People are always seen around the craps tables yelling and screaming creating an exciting environment. Craps RulesThe game begins with a “shooter” rolling two die against a wall. This game is played in rounds so the first roll of each round is known as the “come out” roll. The point of this roll is to try and establish a “point number” which can occur by rolling a 4,5,6,8,9, or 10. If the shooter begins by rolling a 2,3, or 12 then players will lose the pass line bets and this is called craps. A 7 or 11 results in the shooter winning the pass line bet, but both of these cases will end the round and that same shooter will proceed with a new come out roll. Now if a 4,5,6,8,9, or 10 is rolled then the player has established a point number. If this occurs then the player will keep rolling until a 7 is rolled or his point number is rolled again. Rolling the point number results in the player winning the pass line bet, the round coming to an end, and that same shooter beginning a new game. If the player rolls a 7 first then he would lose his pass line bet, the round ends, and the dice would be passed to the next shooter to the left. Craps BettingThere is a great variety in the different types of bets players can make. Most of the bets are made based on the outcome of the round, but players can also bet on a specific amount being rolled or a specific being rolled before a 7. The shooter must begin by either betting on the pass line or don’t pass line. The pass line bet can be won if the shooter rolls a 7 or 11 on the come out roll. Also, if the shooter establishes a point number then the bet can be won by rolling the point before a rolling a 7. The don’t pass line bet is the complete opposite of the pass line. So if the shooter begins by rolling a 2,3, or 12 then the bet is won. If the point bet is made then once again the player would lose the don’t pass bet if the point number was rolled before a 7 and it would be won if the 7 was rolled first. A come bet is made by players after the come out roll, but the other rules are the same as the pass line bet. So if a 7 or 11 is rolled then the player wins and the player will lose if a 2,3, or 12 is rolled. If a point number is rolled then your wager is moved to a box with that number inside of it. Once again, the player would win if that number was rolled before a 7 and lost if the 7 is rolled first. The come bet has some rules with it that occur when a shooter makes a point and the next roll is a come out roll. In this situation, if a 7 is rolled then players would lose their initial wager, but their odds bet would be returned to them. The don’t come is the complete opposite of the come bet. Other types of bets include betting on single roll bets such as betting on snake eyes or the field which would include the numbers 2,3,4,9,10,11, and 12. Multi roll bets can also occur and some examples of these include easy way and lay.
